Harbor Acquires Frontier Securities

ROANOKE, Va., June 9, 2026 — Harbor, a Roanoke-based permanent capital firm that acquires and holds Virginia operating businesses, today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Frontier Securities, a Richmond broker-dealer. The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) approved the change of control, and the transaction has closed. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2005, Frontier Securities operates a broker-dealer platform that provides compliance, supervisory, and back-office support to a select group of independent investment bankers and institutional placement agents. The firm is a member of FINRA and SIPC and is registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, with offices in Richmond, Virginia. Frontier will continue to operate under its own name and team.

The acquisition extends Harbor's platform into capital markets. Frontier supports a community of experienced placement and investment-banking professionals, which gives Harbor a closer vantage on capital-markets activity and a deeper bench of professional talent to build alongside.
